A good haul! The possum needs snow shoes. And I agree about the squirrel "problem" -- it gets old fast watching them forage every month of the year. No coyotes up on the hill?

They show up occasionally, at fairly long intervals. The last time one appeared on a camera on the hill was last September when one drank out of a puddle in a small depression. I'm not sure why we don't get them more often since there's certainly enough food for them: squirrels (I wish they'd eat a few), apples, chipmunks, rabbits, the mice that get their meals beneath the bird feeders, voles, wandering housecats -- lots of good eats.
