Very nice ensemble Woody and a beautiful setting. Was it by chance that the Owl came by twice or did you find Owl pellets at this location prior to choosing this set?

Just dumb luck to get the barred owl twice. Barred owls are really common in the area so it wasn't surprising to get it once -- especially since white-footed mice have been super abundant there. An earlier post had several videos (of many) of mice running that log -- https://forestandfield.blogspot.com/201 ... n-log.html

The bittern really resembles the green herron in many ways. The pileated was a bonus as well.

The videos were all from a Browning Special Ops Platinum. I really like the videos from the Special Ops and Recon Force -- daytime videos seem identical in quality; the Recon Force, being a red glow camera, produces better night videos than the no glow Special Ops. I have several Strike Force cameras and their daytime videos aren't as good, although they can produce good videos in bright light. The Strike Force videos are comparable to those from my Olympus VG-140 homebrews. Because I'm buying older models, any one Browning has cost me about the same as the total cost for all of the components for an Olympus homebrew. A new Browning would cost more than building a homebrew.

All the still photos are from Sony S40s.

Thanks Woody...I use a Recon Force extreme and the daytime videos are really nice....although not quite as good as my sz9 homebrew..but the night videos are why I use the Browning as they are really nice and the sz9 isn't capable of videos at night. My Nikon JZ 250 also takes great daytime videos but the night still pics are nowhere near as nice as the SZ9.
