Call of the Wild

My work studying Wolves takes me into close proximity to them. The following recordings are of two chance encounters. On both occasions, I never saw the Wolves but they most certainly saw me. Upon first hearing the Wolves I quickly recorded them with my cell phone. The audio starts off with two Wolves howling during the cover of darkness. The second recording was taken during the daylight hours was that of a lone Wolf. That Wolf quickly turned from howling to bark howling and it was no doubt a response to my sudden presence in its area. The bark howl is a warning bark to other Wolves when they feel threatened.

There are no other sounds that embody the thought of wilderness than that of howling Wolves.
