Trying to get Mountain Lion Photo

Mountain lions are my favorite animal. There is just something special about them. I am back in my hometown (in the East Bay, CA) this summer and my goal was initially just to get a lion in front of camera. After some time on google earth scouting, I set up a single camera in a canyon leading down to a local lake. It NEVER happens like this, but I came back a week later to find that there was a lion on the prowl the very same night I set out the camera! Seems like he? smelled the trail of the deer (or me) that passed by earlier that day.

This was only my second lion I have ever gotten, but this was special because it was so close to home. My camera trap is now set up in the same camera and I am counting on this this big guy? to come back soon. Hoping I can update this thread with a nice image.

Not the mountain lion but still a cat, albeit a little closer to the camera than I planned for and therefore out of focus. And another deer.
