Finally an SB28 replacement?

A user at cameratrapper.com suggested another flash to try. (
https://www.cameratrapper.com/showthrea ... peedlights ) I received a Neewer 750 II with the manual on/off switch (not the push on, push off switch model) a few days ago. Then, attached it to a Nikon D600 and let the camera and flash go to sleep for a couple days. When I pressed the shutter button, quickly going from metering to shutter, the flash fired. This is great news for the camera trapping community. Maybe, this could finally be a second choice for a flash. The next test is for battery life while in the field.

Very cool, hope it works out. Would be curious what the current draw is.

What I have read ist that the flash should have a 3sec recycle time before it is ready again.
