I think its been about 11 years. I see Hags and DIY are gone now. I dug out my stash of old cams and decided to get them running again. I came here looking for my old picaxe codes and stuff since I have a dozen cams with SS1, SS2, and AIO boards and broken cams. I havent a clue what I set any of them up to do since I liked to tinker. Also I don't know if I wanna rehack some of the experimental cams I had like Canon Powershots and Sony L1 (The hardest hack I have ever done). Glad to see the site is still up even though this hobby is nearly dead. Hope everyone is well.

Nice to hear from you again tbass … there are a few of us that still have homebrew cams and such. I have moved more to the DSLR end of it but still put out a few homebrews every year as well.

Welcome back! Still lots to do

Commercial cams sure have come a long way but still can't beat the homebrew skills for creating specialized builds to get unique footage.

Although I haven't built a new camera in a while, but I'm still running some of my old S40 builds.

I certainly agree! I have and use some commercial cams but still enjoy the homebrews the most ..especially for night time picture quality.I am even using a homebrew as a cell cam. Welcome back tbass

Good to see you back! I've switched mainly over to GoPro units but still have about 16 misc homebrews like old P32, W50,S600 and everything in between. The S600's still perform great.
The hobby has sure died off but there are still a few of us kicking around.
