its been awhile

Post by Cvsetter2 »

hi everyone, been awhile since I been on here.could`nt remember my password so had to re-register.i used to spend a lot of time on diytrailcams, its nice to see this place is still up and running.its ashame the homebrew thing is getting to be a thing of the past,I still have quite a few cameras builds still clicking away but a few that need attention.i since wear bifocals so the soldering probably going to be more challenging than it used to be and i`m sure I will have some questions for you guys,I guess its like riding a bike and will come back.

Hey...good to have you back Mike! It's just about impossible to do new builds now that all the suppliers are gone but I will keep using and repairing my homebrews as long as I can. As far as our aging eyes..I have been using an Optivisor made by Donegan optical company. I use it all the time for many different things as it is amazing how well it works.

There is still a few that visit camtrapper still. I have to admit I have sold a lots of parts and supplies I have to others. I still have lots of parts though. Plus still have some homebrew builds as well. Also still talk to a few other homebrew guys out there that are still going.

There are a few of us still kicking around. I've got 30 build ready to go this spring. Sadly supplies are hard to come by now and for some reason the older cameras are an unreal price right now. Good to see you came back for a look!
