Canon S95 and D10 Camera Update

Post by Predator 1 »

A while ago these 2 cameras were voted on, and chosen to be hacked as part of our New Camera Research & Development. It has been a long time since there have been any updates on these two cams and I apologize for that. Unfortunately the hacks to both these cameras failed, and neither one will power up after the hacks were complete. We've had more than one expert look at them to try to get them going again but were unsuccessful. It's strange that both cameras are Canons and the same thing happened to both of them. There must be some hidden fuse or something that blows when soldering heat is applied to the board...but not sure. Its an unfortunate risk that is involved in hacking new cameras.

We will now attempt to sell both of the cameras for parts on the used market to re-cooperate some of our costs. Thanks for your patience and to all that have helped with hacks or trying to resurrect these two.

Cheers
