The Critter Getter Full Size has the extra opto right on the board for controlling the video recording. Has outputs for the led array and mic preamp. Can also control a exchanger.

I would think either the BIgfoot or SSS LCD board would work well. If the cam is doable.co_bowhunter wrote:Jeff, which board would you recommend to use with the S95 for video?

So we've got the Nikon S30 and Canon S95. I will leave it open for a few more days for any other nominations...then we will put it to a vote!

Sorry Jim...I didn't see your reply before I sent mine.. Sounds like your board will be another good option for video sets!FIREMANJIM wrote:The Critter Getter Full Size has the extra opto right on the board for controlling the video recording. I was just comparing the Nikon S30 and S31. Looks like they are virtually the same camera except the S31 is slightly larger in size and uses a rechargeable lithium battery...the S30 is smaller in size and uses AA's. I'm thinking about sticking with the S30 as the nomination...thoughts?
...and getting back to the Canon S95 another important feature to note is that it can shoot in RAW format!

I'm liking this Canon S95 more and more all the time. My focus with it would be video, using Jim's board or another board depending on the feature set, lifespan, durability, etc.

My vote would be for the S95
