New Subforum Here!

Post by Willy »

This sub forum is dedicated to the All-In-One (AIO) controller board. This will likely become a very popular board, with the slavemaster being discontinued and the fact it is PicAxe ready.

***This board's original design is the creation of Don Kirk and Willy Green and further modified a bit by Scott Clark with their permission. It is not to be used commercially, for profit.***

Thanks for the suggestion Charles and Ron.

From Don and Bill at Hagshouse

"SMCLARK needs to weigh in on this, but here is our (willraygreen and dkirk) official response to this question.

1) You can not sell an AIO board by itself.

2) If you have a build that you did with an AIO board for yourself, and sometime down the road you decide to sell the build after you have used it (sold as used), then we are OK with this.

3) If you do a build for a buddy and use the AIO board we are OK with this.

4) If you advertise a new build and the build includes an AIO board, this is not allowed (no commercial sales, etc.).

Thanks for asking.

Don (dkirk) & Bill (willraygreen). "

These boards were offered as a preorder and there aren't any left overs. From what I have been told there isn't any plans to run another batch.

So, should we really have a sub-forum dedicated to this? Or, should we just merge it with the PicAxe forum? I did not know this was only a one-time run.

Keep it. It's not gone completely.

I think you guys are way to fast on the demise. Anyone can have these made amd I think more will be made. If no one will step forward I will soon, but may be a little different. Remember this will only be a blank board.

It was just me Charles. Seemed odd to have a sub-forum dedicated to a board that is not currently being produced and very few users own. If you and Ron want to keep it, that's fine. Hopefully more will be made and more users will find a use for the sub-forum.
