Boss Hog, 15 years ago, I called up a cougar with a predator call and a friend shot that cat. It was a two year old tom and weighed 90 pounds. It had a tail larger than the tail on the cat in this picture.

I will start another thread tonight. Don't like hijacking Scott's thread. Cats are my obsession. I have some pictures I want you to see. I have pics of a cat almost identical to Scott's cat. Our state carnivore specialist in Olympia confirmed that cat was a female. But I already hnew that. I had over 1,100 pictures of that cat in two days. I have worked with our state biologists in this area, and I will resume that on June 1st after spring bear season is over. Only one picture in over 1,100 confirmed that cat was a female, but I knew it all along because of the tail. I love discussing cats, and I am eager to learn more. I am by no means an expert, but I have almost 20 years experience with the big cats, and over 40 years with bobcats.

great looking cat.
If it's got fur, feathers,or scales it's in trouble.

Thanks for the comments guys. I zoomed in on the walking away pic and I'm pretty sure thats his testes, but since these are my first clear pics I am no expert, thats for sure. I am going to set there again and put down some cat urine, also taking a measuring stick to get a referance for L/H. I would like to stick a dead deer there, but the ranch owners are already freaked out...Scott
