Guess I'll Just Have to Wait

Post by Predator 1 »

I've had a couple cams out on a pond of my parents acreage for the last month or so and havn't been able to check them. My parents don't actually live at this place yet, but my Dad went out there this past weekend, and I asked if he could grab my cams for me.

I got a call from him last night...he was so excited...not sure if I ever seen him that excited before! He picked up my W1 cam that I had on a loafing log, and he said it took over 800 pics in the past month! He could barley get all his words out right when flipping through the pics over the phone...I guess I got some good ones, including a real nice one of a Wood Duck...which might be "same old" for some of the guys here, but Wood Ducks aren't even supposed to be in the flyway we're in, and I've only ever seen 1 ever in Saskatchewan.

Now I have to wait 8 days before I can see the pics! It's one thing waiting to check your cams...but knowing 100% for sure you got primo pics on it...this is proving to be even tougher!

My Dad is a cammer as well, but mainly just uses his for deer season...needless to say he is going out to the pond today to set 2 of his own up there!

Stay tuned...pics comming in 8 days :Run

That's great your dad enjoys it also. Mine does too. I've built him 3 so far and he really enjoys it. Looking forward to those pictures.
