Me and a deer on the trail cam....

Post by mn5503 »

Went to check a couple cams today. Deer leaping around all over the place. Had a buck just stand on the trail and watch me drive by on the wheeler and when I got to the cams I had this feeling I was still being watched. I looked over and there was this big ol' prego doe staring me down. She literally watched me swap out cards and batteries before she slowly walked away. 6 wolves were trapped and killed in this area last year and the deer seem to be a little more at ease now. They seem to have forgotten one important survival tactic though, FEAR ME!!! She does this come September and there's going to be fresh back straps on the grill :poof

Missed one with me and a deer on cam yesterday (at a different site) by about 6 feet.

I hate bug spray, hence the nice bug suit....

You need a Thermacell for the bugs....You wouldn't believe how well they work.http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/p ... rchID=4005

I even use one hunting early season cause they don't give off scent.

I've got one but it's quicker to just put the bug jacket on....

works well for me while walking. I think I'd rather carry one of the thermacells then wear a big bug suit around. That's just MO
