"Wilderness to the people of America is a spiritual necessity, an antidote to the high pressure of modern life, a means of regaining serenity and equilibrium."

Nice shots Ward! I think the second one of the bear in the wallow is one of the nicest bear pics I've ever seen...if only it was just a bit closer...but I guess you don't want to feed all the bears with your cams.
Thanks J,
I could crop it a bit but other than that, can't get too much closer. That's the closest tree to the water.
Tbass, I love bear pics too. Seems to be my focus lately. But at a cost of course.....every now and then I have a few repairs to do, or if I'm really unlucky, the chew it up so bad it can't be repaired. Over the last 5 years out there, I've only had one destroyed and maybe 3 or 4 with lenses or glass knocked out. Lots that have been licked, slobbered on, pawed, spun around the tree, etc.... Usually they play with it for a few seconds and then leave it alone. But this year has been so strange. Every camera has been messed with in only a couple weeks, and some reapeatedly.
thanks for the comments everyone, glad you enjoyed them
Hopefully more to come next week. going back upto the mountains on Sunday for 4 days, so I'll checksome more cams.
