Thanks for that walk in the woods -- I needed it (cuz its too hot here for strolls). Momma Bear's a great instructor.

Great pictures Woody! That piebald mama is sure living the good life. This year in Pa I have noticed less twin fawns and more singles.

Thank you sir. I've not seen many twin fawns this year either. There was a poor acorn crop last fall so the does went into the winter in fairly poor condition. The does still aren't well fed and so probably don't produce much milk, not enough to support two fawns, so even if they give birth to two fawns one doesn't survive.
