This guy likes to drum all hours of the night. I got a whole set of him right around 1am.

That just ain't right, Chickens aren't supposed to be nocturnal,
I'm thinking if you keep your camera there long enough and if this Ruffy keeps these antics up long enough,
You might catch Mr. Owl doing the tango with a Mr. Funky chicken

Those are great photos. Mine drums mostly at night also. I keep thinking he's got some stone with all the yotes and bobcats I got pictures of within 30 yards of the log.

I finally figured out why I haven't found a drumming log yet, My bed time is like 9:00 and by the looks of it I need to be outside at midnight or later.
All kidding aside I just learnt something about a ruffy, I never would have guessed they were out and about that late
