I don't remember seeing many porcupine pics, and now I've seen 2 different guys post them in the last 2 days. Nice catch.

The PGC reintroduced Fishers to combat our porcupine population(but we can't hunt them for some reason), and I had been getting pics of a Fisher in this area the past couple months but now its gone and the porkies are here. I noticed over the last 2 weeks the coons and the first porcupine were becoming tolerant of each other. When the 2nd porky moved in they kept their distance again. The first one normally goes up the one large hemlock in the background every day.

The porcupine is entertaining. Saw one waddling across the road yesterday and followed it snapping a couple of pictures. He wouldn't let me get in front of him though, they keep circling to keep the quills aimed at you.

How is that 100 for speed? I have one that I picked up awhile back and just use as a camera.

I'm running it on a W55 chip. I tried the P41 chip in a Yeti and it missed the first pic. I had an SS board "pushing" the shutter at about 1.3 seconds from startup. Its not the best test. I like it for speed and flash. I have 4 of them on the bench yet to hack.

Like he said Tony,
That must be a young one climbing the feeder,
I seem to remember ours to be almost twice that size! But maybe not its been a couple years since I've seen one.
