First Bear Photo Of The Year

Located my first drumming log. Set a camera on it to see what I would get. Was surprised when the bear walked in. Need to work on my camera setup some for the grouse. Got several pics of the pack rat. (Sony S600)

It looks like a Ruffy to me,
But I think the sun is playing games with our eyes and making the colors sharper and with more contrast, But then again I might be full of cow dung, lol

I'm know expert on grouse but was told it was a ruffed grouse. Photo was taken around 1:30 in the afternoon so he was getting plenty of sun.

Your lucky that bear kept on walking and didn't take the time to chew away. Nice bear!
