Not sure how much longer they will be drumming but I still have a couple cams left on some drum logs. No fan shots this time but some cool drumming shots.
This is my favorite of the bunch

I tried looking for them when I lived in Ohio, but never had any luck. A distant cousin has 100's of them she found around Ohio.

Those first three photos would be blown up, framed and hung on my wall. Excellent shots Dave!

I only ever found a hide scraper in my front yard. I live near a Ryolite deposit and for the life of me, cannot find it and those that know where it's at don't speak of it's location. (Can't blame them). I live near where Mary Jamison was abducted by Indians. And Shawnee patrolled the ridges here burning down the frontier fringe homes. But to know where to search boggles me. Any pointers?

Thanks guys.
Michaux Fur - the only luck I've ever had finding arrowheads was in plowed fields by the river. Indians used the rivers near me as a main source of transportation. My best luck has been on the riverflats but look for a slight hill or mound in the field, thats the first place I look. If you find a lot of flint pieces - you know you're in a good spot to be looking. After you find your first one - you'll be hooked...
