Ive found the PND's on ebay but the cost is the same as a slave flash control board which has more features, I bought the control board myself

Can you wake a flash up from sleep mode with an optical trigger?

In my experience with Nikon flashes, the first flash wakes up the sleeping flash and the second flash will trigger it.JonnyA wrote:Can you wake a flash up from sleep mode with an optical trigger?

If you use one of the flashes that can be hacked and use the yeti with a peanut (PND) or a slave control flash board then you disable the auto off feature and control the charging/refreshing of the flash cap. It also will eliminate unwanted flash during the day.JonnyA wrote:Can you wake a flash up from sleep mode with an optical trigger?
