Panasonic Longevity?

I have a few Panny's that are hacked and half built sitting in the drawer for way too long and going to complete soon. My fleet is primarily s600, s40 and P41's, and although I have had few die or need repair, a lot of cams have been plugging away for years without problem. Can I expect the same longevity from the panasonic cams?

Thanks to those who keep posting pictures. I'm guilty of not getting more pictures up over the last few years. Mulie cams going out in June.

Can’t wait to see your mulie cam pics again Stone. I have also had Sony cams for a long time. Most notably are the S600’s. I have had great luck with the Panasonic’s as well I must say. Perhaps not lasting as long ... but in all fairness I do rotate through a lot of cams or have in the past due to sales of them. I am more greedy of late and keep more than I used to. I like building is my problem and you can’t beat the pics they take.

Did you ever finish your DSLR build ? I came across a post where you had planned on building one ... just curious is all..

Thanks Daryl. Hope I can get a few decent mulies on cam this year. It's been tough finding mature bucks for the last few years. Maybe have a surprise from last fall but there is still way to much snow to retrieve the couple cams that I wasn't able to collect in the fall. They spent a long winter under snow and I hope they survive the melt until I can get to them.

The dslr cams have been another build failure. A bunch of parts sitting in a box that haven't been looked at in some time.

Sometimes life takes us in other directions. Not that it’s bad but it does not always allow us the same time as we require to do other things. I am sure you will get back at it in due course. I am trying my hand at the DSLR as well. I hope I can get onto it.

Come what may it’s so nice to hear from yuh and see u making posts again .... I will wait to see you posts. Pics or builds .. it’s all good my friend ..
