BG2 control board

use this board with a sony p-41 and fm600 3 volt slave flash. the board controls the slave recharging and takes great pics.
having some problems with the slave not going off all the time. wondering if someone knows if there is a way to program
the refresh time for different times.
there is a small push button on the bottom of the board and if anyone has knowledge of what this is and purpose please
chime in..
