Buddy is a combination of four breeds. He was bred especially for predator hunting. I drove to Glendive Montana to pick up Buddy when he was six weeks old. He has the nose of a Plott hound, the fighting instincts of an Airedale, fearless like an Irish Terrier, and the herding instincts of the Australian shepherd. My buddy Gary that breeds these dogs is an Animal Damage Control Officer that works for the federal government. No need to pack a gun when Buddy is around. I think that cat last night was just as surprised as I was when I looked up. The cat probably has a bigger story to tell than I do today, especially after Buddy blindsided him.

Buddy is six years old now. I have lots of pictures and memories of our adventures together. He is the main reason I wanted to get a W290 and hook up an external microphone I will run the 290 on HD video this summer with sound. Wait until you see and hear videos of Buddy fighting with the bears. This will be happening every day, and it will start soon. It ticks Buddy off when the cats and bears climb trees. he would prefer they stay on the ground and fight. You will see what I am talking about soon. I have pictures I could post that show how aggressive he really is, but PhotoBucket would remove them. Tree Huggers don't like to see blood and guts.
