Duck Pics - Some of My Best S600

Post by Terrific_tom »

I messed my knee up at work and have been laid up since the beginning of April. I had arthroscopic surgery yesterday and can't do much for a while so I am bored. Went thru my duck pics from last week and posted some of the good ones. Hope you enjoy.

Those are some nice photos. I like the wood ducks best out of all the types I think.

Great photos. I built my first 600 this year and was so impressed I have 2 more here awaiting builds. They have to rank right up there with the best in my opinion, even the upper end W series.

Ist they had me rest it for two weeks, then they sent me to an Orthopedic Doctor who ordered an MRI the next week, then it took a week for the results to come back that I had a torn Meniscus, than a week and half till surgery. Now they said about 4 weeks for recovery. :pullhare

I wish you the best on your recovery. A few years ago I crashed a dirt bike trying to keep up with my 2 sons. Broke my leg in 4 places from the knee down, and my patella was cracked half way through. Almost had to have surgery on that. When the breaks healed the knee was giving me fits so an MRI told them I had a torn meniscus so they did arthro. Several years and many cortisone shots later I went to the foremost knee guru in my area. His specialty is knee replacement, which he said I'm looking at down the road. I was also suprised when he told me meniscus surgery is only successful about 50% of the time. Now they want me to get another MRI, which I've been putting off a couple years now.
