Samsung HMX-U10 Drumming Grouse Videos

The bird just wouldn't get into view when drumming.

I slapped together a field ready unit in a 1020 with a SS board for this camera. There is no external mic yet. This camera has two mics inside it, so I'm not sure where to hook in at anyway. This is also daytime only, although the board cam trigger at night. So far the grouse has cooperated with me on it by only showing up in the daytime. Watching the videos on my pc, the sound seems to be out of sync with the video. What do you think?

Sounds OK to me, but I have my internet radio playing at the same time. Hope you moved the cam over. NICE!

I moved the cam over yesterday and checked it today. I had no videos so I'll go back Thursday if I can hold off the long. It was on 1080/30fps and I changed it to 720/60fps about an hour ago. I am hoping it will improve the wing beat blur. Its all about playing with things I guess. It sounds much better on youtube than on my pc.

I don't think there's a delay Tony. The first clip he flaps for warmups at first but the timing is in sync. Great audio for a microphone inside the unit. Hope to see more!

The sound and video seem to match not too bad. Cool vids...looking forward to seeing him in the center of the frame!
