Bachelor Group of 10

Post by Michaux Fur »

Scouting a new area of State Forest looking for coyotes and turkey and I stumbled upon this group photo! Thought they were doe until I examined closer and noticed all 10 are BUCKS! Various ages and stages of antler growth are evident throughout the 24 pics I got of these guys. At least one looks promising. I didn't use bait.....just lucked out. I'm hoping to be able to follow their development this year.

Looks like a spot you should keep quiet and preserve for yourself. I thought I was lucky with 7 in one shot.

I've never seen that many in one "herd" either Buckshot. I got lucky for once! As the Indians used to say...."Good birds are talking to me."

and yes Ron.......I would gladly, without hesitation, give up the best tree over this group of 10 for you and Tony any day! :cheers

I'm finally back in the game because of this trailcam! And never so early! And because I've never followed a group of deer this early I don't know if they'll stick together all summer and early fall like this. What do you guys think?

I'm sure it's more than a winter yard as I found a 6 point skull 50 yards from this picture location. We'll see if I can keep up with them. And yes.... I keep a good poker face :Zipit
