P41 O'Gormans Lure

Post by p&y predator »

Back in January I ordered up some scent from F&T Fur Harvester's Trading Post

http://www.fntpost.com/Categories/Trapping...an's+Lures/

I used some of the Powder River Cat Call infront of a Sony P41 Homebrew spreading it on a branch with a twig on April 3rd. The thick paste attractant seems to hold the odour for quite some time.

I threw the twig I used infront of the camera and left the site alone for 3 weeks. Here's what I got.

Interesting results. A little surprised with the Turkey.

You have some beautiful coyotes in your neck of the woods. I used O'Gormans when trapping for the first time this past year....good stuff. Scent lingers forever. It's nice to see how predators react to the scent. For trapping purposes, it's apparent it needs to stay below ground in a dirthole since it triggers a "rolling" response.

Some curious deer! And it appears that turkey is taking a whiff as well! Great idea, and great results!!!

Nice set-up...that stuff seems to work pretty well. Is it supposed to be for cats mainly, or is it an all purpose...seems to bring in all kinds of critters.
