In our area we have plenty yote and as everyone knows they are next to impossible to get on a large DSLR rig for a number of reasons . So I set out to design something that will get the camera in the next county . What I came up with was a system where both the camera and the flash are run with Pixel RF transmitter / receivers . In the pic with the ATV low on the tree you will see a small 1010 case that has a SS11 that I wrote a simple code for & a Pixel transmitter this starts the camera that has a safari board in it on its regular coded program . The flash is fired from the cam by a pixel transmitter .
The camera is fitted with a 250 MM lens set to 130 MM on this test set . You will see the cam up on the ridge 20 yd from the target area !
I have the first test pics 414 overnight I by mistake had the cam set to activity & loaded the card , I will post these in the DSLR area . The test pics are very soft since I had no idea how to set the camera for that big lens in the dark at that distance . The SS11 is at 10 ft to target , the flash is 20 ft to target & camera is 20 yd. On a real yote set I will camo the flash with some leafy blind material .
